A Trend!

Well, I've posted to this blog 3 times - March 13, May 16, and now August 15. At this rate, the appropriate date for the next posting would be December 14. I guess we'll see!

Living out loud has nothing to do with volume, but volume is an issue for me. My hearing aids are in need of new cases as the old ones are cracked and cut my ears. It is going to cost $700 to get new cases, so I'm just trying to give positive encouragement to people to talk loud enough that I can hear them. But when that doesn't work, I'm going to make a sign that says "If you can't talk loud enough for me to hear you, please make a donation to my Hearing Aid fund. " There would be many people who would qualify as donors, believe me. Most of the time, when someone is not talking loudly enough, I'll ask them to repeat a couple of times, I'll move so close to them that it MUST be an invasion of personal space, or I just sit there and react as I think I'm supposed to based on the conversation that I can't hear.

But ... It's not so bad!
