Space Shuttle Enterprise Landing

One of the wonderful benefits of living in Central Florida is getting to be so close to the space shuttle launches and landings. As I was sitting here working, I heard the sonic boom of the shuttle's re-entry into the atmosphere, so I ran to the television and watched the landing - I had never seen it land in the dark, it was pretty amazing. It's even more amazing to watch a launch - we can watch the actual launch on television, then dash outside and see it actually going up in the sky. The very best launches are the night launches - it looks like a big ball of fire shooting up into the sky! I don't care how long I live here, I will always be awed by the space shuttle comings and goings. I can't help but wonder how it must feel to get to do such an amazing thing.
