Hi, if you've come to see my post about My Daddy's Laugh, scroll down, it's the next entry.

I am so touched to read all the wonderful comments and love and support I've received from so many people during this very sad time. I feel incredibly blessed to have so many good friends that truly care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you've done.

Services will be tomorrow.  The funeral is in Durant, Oklahoma, which is about a 3-hour drive from Oklahoma City. It will definitely be a long day, tough in some ways, but I know there will be consolation to be with others who loved  my Daddy.

Joyce has said that she wants each of us, his children, to have one of his Bibles.  These were the most important things he possessed, and I am so pleased that she wants us to share these books. I'm also going to ask about pictures, since that sort of family history is so important to me.

I have somewhere around 100 DVDs that he sent me over the years of the church services and his sermons when he was pastor at Tuskahoma UMC.  I also have about 1500 emails saved where he wrote commentaries on the Upper Room daily devotional.  Both of these will contain a wealth of stories, and I plan to extract those stories and put them in a form that my family can enjoy and remember him by.

Thank you again, dear friends, I will never forget this.
