Christmas in July

Hi!  I promised my friends in the Scrapbook Graphics Tuesday night chat that I would post some Santa pictures so they could see my awesome husband. Problem is, I have thousands of "favorite" Santa pictures in my library. Somehow I whittled it down to 84, so be forewarned, this is a LONG post!  And just to tease, the best picture is the last picture!

This is mostly Santa or Santa and Mrs. Claus, but there are some other odds and ends thrown in because I couldn't NOT throw them in...LOL!

So here they are, Sherry's Favorite Santa Pics et al. Turns out it won't let me reorder these, so just know I would have presented them in a much more organized order.  Nonetheless, I do hope you will enjoy them!

This was a brochure for Downtown Disney Christmas one year.

This was a newspaper ad for Bright House.

Our living room on our wedding day, October 6, 2006. My fantasy day to marry Santa Claus was on Christmas Eve, but I knew that was impossible - Santa's flying all over the world delivering presents that day! So I settled for an October date with a Christmas theme.

Just before the wedding.

Listening to guests and their good wishes for us.

I now pronounce you man and wife!

Me doing what I do best...talking!  I was telling my guests why this was a Christmas wedding.

My awesome family - son Eric and daughter Rachel.

Hey, I'm taller than you when I stand on the stair above you...LOL!

Santa with Santa!

This is what Santa does the other 11 months of the year. He is King Phillipe at Medieval Times Dinner Show.

Wake up Santa!  It's almost time!

Do I trust this guy?

The life of Santa can be a tough one!

Wave to everyone!

Sea Doo Santa

Can't win 'em all!

Santa with the cast of All That at Nickelodeon Studios. He was in a Christmas episode of the show.

Santa with Santa. Just wanted to see how it felt to be the one crying.

The Naked Truth

Ah, now we see Mrs.  Santa! This was at a local nursing home where we went with my girl scouts for several years.

Mr. and Mrs. Santa and Rachel

Mr. and Mrs. Santa with adorable child.

Santa saw children at an event in the Key West Tropical Forrest and Botanical Gardens.

This is the very cool workshop that the Key West folks had put together for Santa.

Santa in the sun

I love these candy-striped glasses!

Buh-bye now!

Another shot of Mr. and Mrs. Claus on a beautiful Florida December day.

At Brighton Indian Reservation - Santa and his crew arrive in a fire truck!

Rachel, Nana, Santa, Mrs. Claus, Eric, and a girl that isn't around any more.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus again

Santa with one of the nursing home residents.

This lady was so cute, and she didn't stop smiling the whole time

The daughters of my girl scout co-leader. They are Jewish and this is the first time they ever had Santa photos taken.

And this is my co-leader, the mom of those girls, in her first-ever sitting on Santa's lap!

Santa and his elf (Rachel) share yummy cookies

Santa with one of the nursing home staff members.

Santa was at an elementary school in Kissimmee, giving books to children and hearing their Christmas wishes. This girl was my favorite.

Santa delivering gifts to businesses. I don't think this guy is eligible!

So, where do I drop off these gifts?

Look, our first gift recipient!

Santa sometimes gets asked to pass out gifts to businesses.

A happy recipient!

Rachel the cutest elf

Me posing with Santa.

This was a very cool convention we went to, the Association for Real-Bearded Santas. It made my head spin to see so many Santas in one place!

One very unhappy Luckie appearing in the role of Santa Claus,.

Christmas Eve hugs and last-minute requests!

Santa and Bear's cat Marmite. He does not make a practice of visiting animals...LOL

Santa with all my girls, family and friends

Santa helped the folks at Florida Retail Association find a winner for their contest and present the prize. He came to the event by sailboat.

Waving hi

At Brighton Indian Reservation. We had to wait inside a trailer for over an hour before they were ready for us to pass out gifts. Eric, ever the curious soul, found some fun items to play with, starting with this wrench.

But the fireman's hat really cinched the look!

Ya better watch out!

He means business

Santa went to the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Orlando to have tea with children and read them stories.

And in the meantime poses for me so I can add more pix to my favorite Santa photos

Santa with my best friend Miriam.

Is it January yet?

This was Santa at the Orlando Repertory Theater

Look Santa, I have boots too!

Just a beautiful picture of my Santa that I love

The little girl with the boots had a baby sister too

Santa in the News

This picture is called foreshadowing. When I met Santa, Rachel was 10 and Eric was 18. In this picture, it is our Santa posing at Downtown Disney with Eric, 8, and Rachel, 1. So this is 9 years before we met and fell in love.

Santa sometimes gets to meet famous people

Reading a newly-published book "Santa Kid" to children at a bookstore in South Florida.

Three Days After Christmas

This is Mr. and Mrs. Claus the first year I got to go with Santa.

See, wasn't it worth the wait?
