Boxes Boxes Everywhere

Oh how I wish I could start a project and finish it in what I consider to be a reasonable length of time! My Christmas decoration boxes have been out in my (small) living room for the past 5 days, and still all the decorations are not out, although progress is being made. But my expectation is that I should be able to do it all in one day, two at the most. I guess I expect too much, but there you have it. Or maybe I could label it hope instead.

It's now 20 days until Christmas! Mom will be here 2 weeks from today, and Tamera will be here 2 weeks from Thursday! I am so looking forward to seeing both of them. Tamera and I have had two wonderful phone conversations this weekend and I think we will have a good time.  Everybody should have a sister in their life, if possible, and I am happy that I have one!

I've got another blog writing task! I am now posting and commenting on layouts for Silvia Romeo and Beth Rimmer - VERY different styles of design, and will require very different writing styles for sure. And then there's Sherry Out Loud - I'm determined to spend some time on "me" too. I deserve my own writing without a doubt.

Tonight is the Medieval Times Christmas party. I have no clue what I'm going to wear. The only decent dress I have will look like a large sausage stuffed in a small casing. And the bank balance isn't exactly hefty enough to go out and buy new clothes. Something will work out though, I have no doubt.

I actually made it to church yesterday, and the Advent service was terrific. There was a performance by the children's choir, and they sang like angels! I was so amazed at their young age, at them being able to harmonize and sing different parts like a round. Their directors are obviously outstanding!

Okay, I'm out of things to say so I'm closing now. Buh-bye for today!
