I Did It!

Yes indeedy, I did it I did! What's that, you ask? I wrote my first book review and published it both at Good Reads and!  It's for a book called The Heart Specialist, by Claire Rothman, and you can see it here:

Apparently I am easily impressed with my own self, but it made me feel wonderful to do this. I've said it so many times, I want to WRITE, and it seems that these little ways to get me started are perfect. It's much more fun to write something that is designed for someone else to read, albeit in small bits and bytes. And the more I can see my words on the screen, the more likely I am to write more and more.

There are more Christmas decorations and less boxes in my house today, yay!!!  I think I said yesterday that today would be my finishing day - it's early so there's real reason to hope. David is performing in 2 shows at Medieval Times today so I'll have lots of time to get things finished up. I realize this would be more fun with some actual photos, but just use your imagination and see beautiful decorations surrounding green plastic bins that I drag them out of slowly but surely.

I have finished another secret Christmas project which I can't talk about yet, but I'm so excited about it! Today I'm going to work on a photo book for Rachel - Blurb has a photo book format that can be created from Facebook photos, and it also brings in the comments on the photos. I think she is going to love it, at least I hope so. I have one other secret project that I may be able to get done today, and then we'll see if I actually can scrape up the $$$ to order them - Blurb's 25% off sale ends today, and today is the last day to order and get Christmas delivery without paying exorbitant shipping costs.

So, off to get busy with one or the other of my projects, see you soon.

Peace and love to everyone!
